The Living Pilot

The wells, the state's record and the owner's paper in one view, above ground and below it. Every figure is a lead until a record confirms it, and the page never lets the two look alike.

Synthetic dataAn invented county, invented wells, an invented operator and an invented owner. No real company, lease or person appears here and no live feed is connected. Thirteen anomalies are planted on purpose so each function has something to find. Rates and deadlines shown are illustrative. The aerial view is a real public-domain photograph of West Texas from the USDA aerial programme, draped over real public elevation data for the same ground, with the real roads from OpenStreetMap, used only as terrain. The tank batteries, sheds and stations are invented and drawn oversize. The invented wells are not placed on real pads and nothing here describes a real well.

    The estimate grades itself

State filing, once it landsEstimate made at month endMiss over 10 percent, flagged by the tool against itself
Track record, this well - An estimate is a lead when it is made. Two months later the filing lands and the estimate is scored. The score is published whether it flatters or not.
    What is real here

The logic. Filing lag, amendments, late filings, stub tie-out, tax and price checks, suspense, tract allocation, exception clocks and the scoring of estimates all run live in this page on generated records.

    What the pilot adds

Public state production filings for one county refreshed monthly, with satellite flaring, earthquake catalogs and posted prices layered over them. Owner paper stays synthetic until a client supplies theirs.

    What it will not do

Name a real operator beside a planted defect, or show an estimate dressed as a fact.
